Sorry about the total lack of posts. I have no excuses except for the fact that summer seems to bring out the laziness in me, and in my outfit selections. But every once in a while I put something nice together. Like this cute and easy blue on blue ensemble. Which, of course, is paired with my birks since I haven't taken them off since I've bought them and my feet are super happy with that.

It has been super hot out, which basically means simple pieces that are easy to wear. So for me, that's the perfect pair of white denim shorts and a pinstriped tank. You may also notice there's something different about my feet. That's right, I've finally embraced the Birkenstock. Now, this is not because I suddenly believe that Birks are super cute or anything like that, but as long as they are being accepted as a sartorial staple this summer I might as well give my feet a break. And my feet have never been happier.

What I'm Wearing: Dress A.L.C. | Bag Balenciaga

Here are a few pics from the weekend before last weekend when I made the trek over the Brooklyn Bridge and into Brooklyn. It was the hottest day ever but I made it to Brooklyn Flea, which was full of some really cool things. And I wore the perfect little black dress, made of the softest material, and with just a little hint of skin with the cut-out in the back. It's the perfect piece to carry me through the rest of the summer and into fall.
