I found the perfect summer slides, and they were on sale (and they're on sale in the link above too). These slides easily work for everyday or for the pool. I especially love them worn super casually with a pair of boyfriend jeans. This pair from Citizens is the perfect pair, trust me, I've been searching for a while. They fit just like a perfectly tailored pair of vintage jeans. But if you do buy them I recommend sizing down depending on how loose you want them because they do definitely run big.

Feeling 22

Just thought I'd share some pictures from my birthday yesterday. It was filled with yummy food at Catch NYC, drinks with rainbow lollipops, a cinnamon roll donut (it's what dreams are made of I swear), giant balloons, my best friends, family, and the most amazing surprise present (the Gucci wallet). 

Festival Season

Here's the outfit I wore to Gov Ball. Unfortunately I took no pictures that day, but I re-created the look. I like simple looks for festivals that are easy and comfortable, with an added edge. The bralette adds a nice lacy detail to an otherwise simple top and layered chokers add a finishing touch to the whole look. For the festival I wore converse, (that were in the washing machine at the time of these photos because they had gotten covered in mud) but as seen above you can easily pair the look with a sandal too and wear it any day of the week. 

Slip Into Summer

Slip dresses are perfect for summer. They can easily be layered a million different ways and they're a nice, lightweight option for hot days. I prefer to layer a slip dress over a tee and pair it with sneakers for an easy casual look. And I am absolutely in love with this dress because of it's cute back and ties up the side.

Music Monday | Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine

On Saturday I went to Governors Ball where I waited for forty minutes in the pouring rain just to see The Killers. I had seen them once before at Firefly and my one complaint was that they didn't sing my favorite song (above), however, at Gov Ball they sang it during their encore and made my trip to Randall's Island completely worth it.  So, give it a listen and enjoy.

Nothing beats a little black dress. With lace details, a crinkled texture, and a flowy silhouette this little black dress is perfect for summer. This will definitely be on heavy rotation this summer, and the texture makes it a perfect piece to travel with too because you'll never have to worry about wrinkles.

I may have said it a few (million) times, but I love off-the-shoulder tops for summer. These tops are great for festival season too, and this one in particular is definitely being packed for FireFly.
